Mungfali Ki Chikki
Caramelized puffed rice, make an irresistible, strongly flavoured, munching delight.
    Preparation Method
  1. Lightly roast the puffed rice to make them crisp.
  2. On a low flame, melt jaggery in a heavy bottomed pan.
  3. Keep stirring till bubbles appear in the melted jaggery.
  4. Test: When removed, the syrup drop forms a firm ball consistency.
  5. Add the puffed rice. Stir and mix well.
  6. Grease the palms with little ghee. Shape the mixture into small round balls when hot.
  7. When absolutely cool, store in an airtight container.
