Gond Ke Ladoo
The ingredients of these ladoos make up for the deficiencies of a diet.

Preparation Method

      Spice-Dry Fruit Mix: To make 2 cups.
    1. Clean and mix all the powders for the spice—dry fruit mix. Sift through a wheat flour sieve. Add nuts and coconut.
      To Proceed
    1. Coarsely grind the gum pieces. Soak it in ghee for 10-12 hours. Keep aside.
    2. On a low flame, melt 1 teaspoon ghee in a wide, heavy bottomed pan. Add jaggery. Sauté it till it melts completely. Switch off the flame. Remove the pan from the fire.
    3. Immediately, add the soaked gum and spice-dry fruit mix. Stir this mixture very well. Cool it.
    4. Make equal balls. Store in an airtight container.
      Additional Note
    • Ladoos if eaten from childhood during winter, backaches can be avoided.
      New mothers also eat it, especially after delivery.

    3. 5 grams piprimul
    4. 5 grams chopchini
    5. 5 grams gokharu
    6. 5 grams safed musli
    7. 3/4 cup almonds (slivers, approx.)
    8. 1 shell dry coconut (shreds, approx.)
    9. 1/4 cup pistachios (slivers, approx.)
    10. Other Ingredients:
    11. 250 grams bavaliya gundar
    12. 750 grams jaggery (finely cut)
    13. 150 grams ghee (melted - to soak)
    14. 1 teaspoon ghee (to sauté)
