Besan Ki Hari Mirch (Green Chillies)
Gram flour added to fresh green chillies, makes a special accompaniment to a meal
    Preparation Method
  1. On a low flame, heat oil in a pan. Add asafoetida and chillies. Sauté. Add spices and salt. Mix well. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
  2. Gently sprinlde gram flour and then water, evenly on the chillies. Stir with a spatula for 3-4 minutes till the flour is cooked and sticks to the chillies.
  3. Switch off the gas. Stir the mixture for a minute. Cover for 2 minutes. Serve as required.

~ INGREDIENTS ~
  1. 10 fresh green chillies (long — cut into 1")
  2. 3/4 cup bengal gram flour (lightly roasted)
  3. 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  4. 1/2 teaspoon dhana-jeera powder
  5. pinch of asafoetida
  6. 3 tablespoons oil
  7. 2 tablespoons water
  8. salt to taste
