Tomato Soup
Easy to make healthy & refreshing tomato soup.
    Preparation Method
  1. Cut the tomatoes and combine them with 4 cups of water. Pressure cook them upto 2 whistles.
  2. Blend this mixture (either in a mixer or an electric blender) to form a smooth purée. Strain the purée using a strainer
  3. Heat ghee in a kadhai, add the tomato purée.
  4. Alongside boil milk and add corn flour to it. Add this mixture to the soup and cook well.
  5. Add sugar, salt, red chilli powder, bay leaf & cumin powder and black pepper powder to the mixture.
  6. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve hot.

  1. 8-10 medium sized tomatoes
  2. 1 1/2 cups milk
  3. 1 teaspoon corn flour
  4. 1 teaspoon ghee
  5. 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
  6. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
  7. 1/2 teaspoon bay leaf and cumin powder
  8. 2 teaspoon sugar
  9. 4 cups water
  10. salt to taste
